THE RELIGIOUS group El Shaddai has added its voice to an earlier call that ousted President Joseph Estrada be placed on house arrest, saying transferring him from the hospital where he is at present detained will effect a true "healing" among warring political groups in the country.

In joining cause with the Iglesia ni Cristo which spearheaded the call, El Shaddai, through spokesperson Mel Robles, clarified that the group was not seeking to have Estrada's alleged crimes condoned or place itself in a position where it obstructs justice.
