TORONTO -- Ontario Health Minister Tony Clement helped launch two patient-responsive health initiatives Friday with Shoppers Drug Mart.

In a test program launched throughout Ontario, Shoppers Drug Mart will be destination centers for bio-medical waste (syringes, lancets, blood test strips, etc.), providing its customers a free sharps container.
