JAKARTA: The Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) will organize a kite flying contest at Ancol beach in North Jakarta on Sunday, Dec. 1, in commemoration of World AIDS Day.

The contest, themed "Fight AIDS, not the People (with AIDS)", is open for all kite lovers in Greater Jakarta.

Meanwhile, about 2,000 high school students are expected to join a parade organized by the Indonesian AIDS Foundation at the Bung Karno Sports Center in Senayan, South Jakarta, on Saturday at 3 p.m.
