Minsk, 1 December: Today in Minsk, delegates at the sixth convention of the Belarusian People's Front (BPF) adopted a new platform reaffirming the party's course toward the European Union and NATO. "We see Belarus's future in the European Union. This means guarantees of national security, well-being and the preservation of national interests and values," says the platform. "We see Belarus's future in a stronger world based on common values and a defence treaty - the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO). "
