According to the results of the exit polls, Danica Simsic, a candidate of the United List of Social Democrats for mayor of Ljubljana, has gained 56.8 per cent of votes in today's runoff mayoral elections, Slovene television has reported.

Current Ljubljana Mayoress Vika Potocnik, a candidate of the Liberal Democracy of Slovenia, has received only 43.2 per cent of votes.
