The Tel Aviv Stock Exchange (TASE) rose today. The Tel Aviv 25 index closed up 0.98% at 368.75 points, the Tel Aviv 100 index rose 0.92% to 362.37 points, and the Tel-Tech 15 index gained 1.85% to 192.47 points. Turnover totaled NIS 175 million.
The TASE refuses to stop. Even Thursday's terrorist attacks in Kenya and Beit Shean which overshadowed Thursday's trading, were forgotten by the Tel Aviv investors, who pushed the TASE up another notch.
In the morning, it seemed that the investors were still unsure which way the market was headed. Trading opened up slightly, then quickly reversed in a 0.5% loss. The bulls quickly recovered however, and pulled the market back up.
At over NIS 170 million turnover was heavy for a Sunday.
A lively end to the report season
