Shortly before the transfer of control to the Nochi Dankner group, IDB Holdings today reported a NIS 161 million loss for the third quarter, compared with a NIS 286 million loss in the third quarter of 2001.
The company results included write-offs, offset by profits on the sale of investments, totaling NIS 121 million, compared with NIS 159 million in the corresponding quarter last year.
In the first nine months of 2002, IDB Holdings lost NIS 129 million, compared with NIS 595 million in the corresponding period in 2001. IDB Holdings owns 60% of IDB Development and 12.5% of the Israel Discount Bank.
IDB Development posted a NIS 189 million loss in the third quarter, of which NIS 131 million was from write-offs, offset by profits on the sale of investments. The company lost NIS 253 million in the third quarter of 2001. In ...
