SYDNEY, Dec 2 Asia Pulse - Papua New Guinea Prime Minister Sir Michael Somare today said he would hold informal talks with his Australian counterpart John Howard.

However he said he would not be asking for extra assistance for the impoverished PNG.

"We have no specific agenda," Sir Michael told reporters at a PNG mining conference here.
