SEOUL, Dec 2 Asia Pulse - Seoul shares stayed steady early Monday after rising over the 720-point mark last week, though Wall Street showed fractional drops due to concern about United Airline's possible bankruptcy.

Opening 0.19 points higher at 724.99, the Korea Composite Stock Price Index (KOSPI) posted 0.01 points higher at 724.81 as of 9:30 a.m.

Volume stood at 112.8 million shares for a turnover of 361.6 billion won (US$281.3 million). Gainers led losers 432 to 272 with 81 unchanged.
