NEW DELHI, Dec 2 Asia Pulse - ONGC Videsh Ltd (OVL), the overseas arm of state-run exploration firm Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (BSE:ONGC), will garner US$60 million in revenue from its investment in a Vietnamese offshore gas field which will begin commercial production from December 6, a senior company official said.
The US$1.3 billion Nam Con Son project, in which OVL has 45 per cent stake, would produce 3 billion cubic metres of gas per annum from next year, OVL managing director Atul Chandra told reporters.
The project would transmit gas along a 399-km pipeline, the world's longest gas-and-liquid pipeline, to a power complex south of commercial hub Ho Chi Minh City, ...
