HYUNDAI PRESENTS MALAYSIAN PM MAHATHIR WITH SUBCOMPACT 'ATOZ'.
SEOUL, Dec 2 Asia Pulse - Hyundai Motor Co. (KSE:05380) presented Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad with the first "Atoz" off its recently-launched production line in the Southeast Asian nation, a Hyundai official said.
Mahathir took the subcompact car for a short spin at a ceremony and expressed a deep interest in his nation's third national car, the official said.
During the ceremony, the prime minister said that through Atoz production in Malaysia, his nation will be able to learn Korea's capabilities for making quality cars with low production costs, the official said.
