August 9th was a hot day in Watsonville, California. The temperature had reached 90 degrees when 9-year-old Isiah Ayala noticed two puppies in a parked car near his home. The vehicle was locked and a window was cracked only slightly. It was clear to Isiah that the small Labrador mix dogs were in serious trouble.
