Cedar Point Communications, a leader in packet-based voice switching development for the cable industry, announced today that its SAFARI C(3)(TM) Media Switching System has been selected as a finalist in the 2002 Readers Choice Awards competition conducted by Communications Technology magazine.
A panel of cable technology experts named SAFARI C(3), the first totally integrated Carrier Class Cable (C(3)) telephony solution designed exclusively for cable system operators, one of the industry's five "Best New Headend Products." SCTE members attending the SCTE Cable-Tec Expo June 4-7 in San Antonio will select the winning product in the Headend category.
SAFARI C(3) will be demonstrated at the Cedar Point Communications booth, #7004/7006, at the Cable-Tec Expo.
