During the past few years, students have significantly raised the bar in digital content creation, producing professional-level work that is winning accolades throughout the industry. Recently, Adobe Systems--through its second annual Adobe Design Achievement Awards--recognized various students for their achievements in assimilating technology with creative arts.
Using the latest versions of Adobe software, more than 800 students from leading US design schools submitted projects in eight categories, including video, experimental design, Web, digital media, and others. According to an Adobe spokesperson, the works represent the talent of some of the most promising student graphic designers, illustrators, digital filmmakers, and computer artists today. "Student designers no longer resist the use of technology, which has touched just about every medium," he says. "Rather, they are embracing technology as tools to help them fully express their creativity and realize their ideas."
