Ford Motor China to open research and engineering center in Nanjing.

BEIJING (XFN-ASIA) - Ford Motor (China) Ltd said it will open a research and engineering center in Nanjing in eastern China.
The center will support Ford Motor's product development for global operations, the company said in a statement.
"The plant will also work with technical development centers at Ford's joint ventures in China to support product development and procurement," said Ford Motor (China) Ltd CEO Mei Wei Cheng.
No timetable was gien for the opening of the center.
