Kevin Nervegna, a 27-year-old native of New York, grew up watching the races at Watkins Glen, Pocono and Dover, but three years ago he was as far from a career in NASCAR as anyone could get. After graduating from Ithaca College in 1997, Nervegna went to work in New York City as an accountant but a growing interest in racing changed his life completely.
