KOREA'S SOUTH CHUNGCHEONG POSTS HIGHEST EXPORT RISE JAN-SEPT.
SEOUL, Nov 1 Asia Pulse - South Chungcheong Province exported a record 10.8 billion won (US$8.83 million) worth of goods in the first nine months of the year, up 20.6 per cent from the same period a year ago, the Korea International Trade Association (KITA) said today.
Gangwon province placed second in export growth with an increase of 20.1 per cent in exports, followed by North Gyeongsang province with 19.4 per cent, Gwangju 19.3 per cent and South Jeolla province 16.2 per cent.
In contrast, Seoul and Incheon reported a decrease of 15.5 and 15.2 per cent during the same period.
