LAHORE, Nov 1 Asia Pulse - Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB) under its industry standardisation project has signed up 55 local software companies to help them achieve ISO 9001 certification. This programme was launched to help 80 software companies to achieve ISO 9001 certification. Ten software companies are likely to achieve this valuable certification by December this year.
PSEB, the apex body for the promotion of software exports is bearing a major portion of the financial cost needed to attained the ISO 9001 certification. An average increase of 20 per cent is expected in annual exports of software houses that achieve the said standard.
