BANGALORE, Nov 1 Asia Pulse - HSBC plans to double its staff strength in India for back-office operations from the current 2000 to 4000 in two years, a senior company executive said.
Malcolm Wagget, Chief Operating Officer of HSBC's Electronic Data Services in India, said by 2004, HSBC plans to increase its headcount in Asia-Pacific by 6000 to reach 10,000, including 2000 additions in India, for such operations.
