TAIPEI, Nov 1 Asia Pulse - The Dell Computer Corporation and Hewlett-Packard Ltd. (HP) will purchase a combined estimated total of US$22 billion worth of computer parts and components in Taiwan this year, according to the Ministry of Economic Affairs.

The figure is higher than the US$19 billion expected to be posted by all other foreign buyers, and the total of US$41 billion estimated for the whole of 2002 will represent a noticeable growth over the US$37 billion registered in 2001.
