Four agencies are competing in an effort to land the PR remit for women's body-spray and anti-perspirant brand Impulse.
Lever Faberge - the home and personal care business of Unilever which is behind Impulse - confirmed that incumbent Freud Communications was one of the agencies in the running for the contract.
The spokesperson said LF reviews its PR accounts 'roughly every three years, depending on the brand' - and insisted that the repitch had not been triggered by any dissatisfaction with Freuds' work.
The LF spokesperson added that the contract was likely to be for 12 months and would run through 2003.
The agency - expected to be appointed in around one month's time - would handle primarily media relations work, focused on the consumer media.
