WASHINGTON (Yonhap) _ U.S. Secretary of State Colin Powell will visit South Korea Nov. 10-12 to attend a conference of foreign ministers as high tension continues on the peninsula due to the revelation of North Korea's secret nuclear weapons development program.
Powell will take part in the second Community of Democracies conference, a meeting of more than 100 foreign ministers from democracies worldwide.
