MOHAMMED AL FAYED is facing a potentially fatal blow to his ambitious plans to redevelop Fulham Football Club.
Residents have issued another High Court writ against the project.
It means the GBP100million scheme to revamp Craven Cottage in West London could be delayed for at least two years.
"The club is reeling, " said an insider. "It's gloomy and everyone is very upset. They have put so much into this, to have it all land back at their front door."
The revelation will devastate supporters and raise doubts as to hether the Premier League team ill ever move back to its original home. The club received the judicial review - a copy of which has been obtained by the Financial Sunday Express - at the beginning of August. Lawyers representing Fulham have already made moves to have the application struck out.
