ANIMAL rights activists are planning a campaign against international petrol giant ChevronTexaco.
The Stop Huntingdon Animal Cruelty group (Shac) is threatening to protest at garage forecourts and picket the houses of senior directors over the next few months.
It claims the company has ignored letters asking for executives to pledge never to use controv ersial research laboratory Huntingdon Life Sciences.
Chevron Texaco sells some products that have been tested on animals. Last night Shac spokesman Greg Avery said the group had written to ChevronTexaco three times over the past six months without any success.
And he warned the company faced the wrath of its supporters unless it made an immediate public declaration.
