La Paz, Oct 30 (EFE).- Bolivian and Peruvian officials were meeting Wednesday to discuss exports of Bolivian natural gas to the United States.

Bolivian Hydrocarbons Minister Fernando Illanes and Peruvian Energy and Mines Minister Jaime Quijandria were to talk in the city of Santa Cruz about the possibility of using a Peruvian port to export natural gas to California.

Those talks were taking place amid the broader Latin American Conference on Cross-border Commerce of Gas underway in the eastern Bolivian city.
