NEW DELHI, Oct. 29. DOMEX, Hindustan Lever's six-year-old phenyl and floor disinfectant brand, which already leads in the branded segment, is looking to mop up competition further - from within the unorganised sector now.

Mr Ani Ghosh, Senior Product Manager, HLL, said that the company was looking at diversifying Domex to proxy upgrades under the umbrella brand in the next two years. "One obvious example of proxy upgradation is a combination of phenyl and detergent.

Research tells us that several households use both local phenyl brands and detergents for multi-purpose household cleaning.
