The prime minister of the Transitional Government of Somalia, Hasan Abshir Farah, has charged that Britain is seeking to dismember Somalia.

The prime minister said Britain, which had in the past divided up Somalia, was also now seeking to divide Somalia into north and south, something which, he added, would be against Somalia's nationhood.
