A Federal High Court sitting in Lagos yesterday restrained the Lagos State government from reconstructing the burnt popular Balogun market, Lagos following a suit by about 300 traders and shop owners at the market, who lost property and cash estimated at billions of naira in the fire that gutted the market.

The traders are alleging in the suit that the state government is reconstructing the market with the intention of evicting them from the market illegally.
