Hazy weather is again smothering the sultanate after weeks of absence and the haze is expected to prevail for a few more days due to the south to southeasterly winds and dry weather in Kalimantan.
The Environment, Parks and Garden Department of the Ministry of Development confirmed that Brunei has been experiencing slight haze since last Tuesday.
In a statement yesterday, the department said that satellite imagery formation from the Asean Specialised Meteorological Centre showed that the number of hot spots in western and central Kalimantan has increased substantially.
