ONE YEAR ON: 9/11 fears hit stock markets

As September 11 approaches, fears that the United States will experience another attack on the anniversary of last year's terrorist strikes are already sending the bearish world and Thai stock markets into almost a nervous breakdown.

The growing anxiety has swiftly crossed the Atlantic Ocean from the US to Europe and further to the Asian continent, Thailand included.

Analysts say the fears would die out and all businesses, which have been slowing down their expansion, will return to normal if September 11 passes without incident. Wary …
