THE Federal Land Development Authority (Felda) operates an oil palm complex in Egypt, producing various types of edible oils and cocoa butter substitutes and bulk storage terminals. Just like any other private companies, Felda, through its subsidiaries, are looking for growth overseas.
In Egypt, it joins the ranks of Consolidated Plantations, a subsidiary of Sime Darby Bhd, which has a refinery there.
