Johannesburg, South Africa (PANA) - Kaizer Chiefs beat Black Leopards 9-8 in front of a capacity crowd of about 70,000 at FNB stadium Saturday to lift the Telkom Charity Cup after a penalty shootout.

In a football bonanza that lasted nine hours, Chiefs emerged victorious having overcome arch rivals Orlando Pirates 1-0 in an earlier game, while Black Leopards had claimed the scalp of Moroka Swallows whom they beat 2-1 in their first match.

The Charity Cup, which is a precursor to the Premier Soccer League (PSL), involves four teams playing on the same day. Fans vote for the teams.
