Notre Dame plays a very basic defense and isn't trying to do a lot of things, but they are so sound fundamentally. Their inside guys play with their pads very low and have great hands. They don't stretch you mentally, but they make you think about your fundamentals. You have to count on them having some lack of discipline, but that's not happening....
