Baghdad, 5 August: National Assembly Deputy Speaker Hamid Rashid al-Rawi has asserted that the US threats will increase our people's steadfastness and their rallying to their esteemed leader President Saddam Husayn. In a statement to INA, al-Rawi said that the threats of the evil US administration are not new. This administration, he added, has been trying - in vain - to impose its will on the people of Iraq and their national, independent options.

The National Assembly Deputy Speaker added that the National Assembly has called for an emergency meeting of the Arab Parliamentary Union to discuss the US threats …
