Finnish housing and environmental technology company Uponor Oyj has reported an operating profit of EUR103.7 for the period 1 January to 30 September 2002.
The operating profit increased 39%, as compared to the operating profit of EUR74.6m for the corresponding period last year.
The consolidated net sales for the nine-month period totalled EUR870.8m, a 5.4% decrease as compared to EUR920.1m at the corresponding period last year.
Uponor said that the fall in net sales was mainly due to the strong contraction of the telecomms business ...
