KUALA LUMPUR, Tues. - Following the success in the use of sulh (mediation) at the Selangor Syariah Courts since two months ago, other States are now in the process of adopting this new mechanism.
Syariah Judicial Department director-general Datuk Sheikh Ghazali Abdul Rahman, who is also the Syarie Chief Justice, said more than 65 per cent of the Muslim civil disputes registered with the Selangor Syariah Court were resolved amicably during the sulh sessions.
