LEIPZIG, Germany: In the history of modern volleyball since 1952, when the International Volleyball Federation launched the first Women's Volleyball World Championship in Moscow, there is always a team of the decade - Japan dominated in the 60s, Russia or the former Soviet Union conquered the 70s, China topped the world in the 80s and Cuba overpowered all in the last decade of the 20th century.
