Tired of holding the wooden spoon, Ruth Seeman is enjoying the stir she and her team-mates are causing in women's tennis.
Seeman and the Shirley team have been in commanding form this season and lead the ASB Bank Trophy women's inter-club competition.
Shirley's 5-1 win over Fendalton on Saturday saw it open a 30-point lead over nearest rival Cashmere, which had the bye.
Seeman said it was pleasing for the side to be unbeaten after four rounds.
