Through search warrants, State College, Pa., police have obtained a black box, which might provide information relating to the speed of Anthony Torsell's car at the time he allegedly struck two pedestrians, killing one, a State College detective said.
At about 2:30 a.m. Oct. 28, Torsell, 20, of Bellefonte, Pa., was under the influence of alcohol while driving south on South Atherton Street in a gold Buick Skylark, according to court documents.
Torsell allegedly hit Aaron Stidd, 20, and Richard Smith, 21, who were crossing the street westbound. Smith died at Mount Nittany Medical Center Oct. 28. …
