Hilarious but deadly fun is the name of the game at murder mystery weekends held in various hotels in Ireland during cold winter nights.

'The same people return again and again - it's a great way to break the ice and make new friends,' says Margaret Mulchroneof the Westport Woods Hotel and Leisure Centre. The three-star Co Mayo hotel, which has been running these weekends for six years, usually holds them monthly from October to April.
