I FELT ashamed of the NHS ("Scared of the NHS? Oh, all right go private", Daily Express, October 16). It made me question if the NHS managers really care about us. I certainly have my doubts after the story of cancer victim Jill Baker, who chose private treatment because she had been infected with the MRSA superbug at an NHS hospital. She had every right to demand the NHS pay for private treatment for another cancer operation.
