Latin America represents one of the most attractive export Regions in the world. With 514.7 million people in 33 countries, the continent south of our border is ripe with customers and companies wanting to buy and sell U.S. products and services. More than 80 percent of the population is concentrated in seven countries -- Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Peru, and Venezuela -- the economies of which represent 90 percent of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of the entire region.
