The Ministry of Railways, Government of India, has proposed a special purpose vehicle (SPV) for the Rs14,000-crore Golden Quadrilateral Project. It has approached the Asian Development Bank and the World Bank to invest in the SPV. It has tied up foreign funds worth Rs1,000 crore for the Project.
