Members of a Peterhead family have been fined after admitting shouting anti-English racial abuse at neighbours.

Peterhead Sheriff Court heard yesterday that couple Marion and John Gillespie, both 31, and John's sister, Alexis Gillespie, 29, had hurled abuse at their mother's neighbours on June 1 this year.

The trio had been at her Slains Court home when neighbours had telephoned the police to complain about the noise coming from the house in the early hours.
