* Rio Communities store mixes furniture with collectibles

Autumn Creek isn't the kind of store where you can step in the front door and see everything in one quick glance. You have to take your time and browse a bit.

Owner Lynda Burdine calls it her "fun shop," a blending of old and new cottage finds, crafts, collectible gifts, used furniture and antiques for the home.

The shop is located in Rio Communities at 480 Rio Communities Boulevard (N.M. 47), Suite B in the Del Rio Shopping Plaza.

Inside there are chairs, a dinette set, a couch, book and knickknack shelves, benches and small tables. Scattered throughout are decorated bird houses, baskets, candles, china figurines, dolls, toys, dishes all sorts of goodies and bric-a-brac.

A pair of wooden side chairs with padded seats is priced at $17.50 each; a pair of blue painted ladderback chairs with cane seats is marked $22 each. There is a basket decorated with intricately painted papier- mache pansies marked at $5.99. A swag of silk flowers and greenery about 14 inches long and 5 inches high sells for $7.50.
