The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) has faulted claims by the Revenue Mobilisation All-ocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC) that there was 15 per cent shortfall in oil receipts into the Federation Account between January and July this year.

The RMAFC had called on the corporation to account for a revenue shortfall of N302.28 billion that should have been credited to the Federation Account between January and July this year.

The NNPC in a letter dispatched to the Commission, the Finance Ministry and the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), however, faulted all the parameters used by the RMAFC in calculating proceeds from both crude oil exports and domestic …
