Nearly 100 music teachers, clinicians and guests met in Irving, Texas, August 9-11 to delve into the world of group piano teaching.
In addition to exploring what constitutes a group class, other topics included conceptual teaching, teaching repertoire in groups, peer interaction, lesson planning, partner lessons, adult group classes, adapting a favorite method to group teaching, creativity in group lessons, technology and other resources and an exploration of business practices.
