The Juenesses Musicales Montreal International Competition (JMMIC) will take place May 27-June 6, 2003, in Montreal and is open to young instrumentalists and singers from around the world who intend to pursue a professional career in music.

The winner receives $25,000. In addition there are second- through sixth-place cash prizes totaling more than $24,000 and other special cash awards.

The JMMIC consists of three disciplines: voice, violin and piano in an alternating three-year cycle, with voice in 2002, violin in 2003 and piano in 2004. ...
