Mobile telephone operator Amena, part of Spanish telecommunications holding company Auna, has asked the Spanish government to review annual interest payments of 9m euros for guarantees as part of its acquisition of a UMTS licence. Overall guarantees for its UMTS and GSM licences amount to 1.919bn euros.
