COMPANIES with employees who need to access the same business-critical applications from any place or device can now utilise Citrix Systems Inc's Citrix MetaFrame Application Services.

Citrix Systems Asia-Pacific's country sales manager Anthony Tian said Citrix MetaFrame Application Services act as a middle layer between the server and device such as personal digital assistants (PDAs).

MetaFrame allows applications to be deployed from client to servers, instead of from the database, Tian added.
